Amortization Schedules
Amortization schedules for
most years are in Microsoft Excel.
In order to estimate the principal and interest payments required
for a particular amount borrowed:
- Determine the term you wish to borrow for.
- Obtain the appropriate Market Rates for
that term.
- Click on the link to Amortization Schedules below.
- Go to the tab for the borrowing term, in the Excel spreadsheets.
- Enter in the amount you wish to borrow and the current rate,
within the spreadsheet.
- Save Excel workbook for future borrowings.
- When printing the Excel page you would like, be sure
to go up to the Edit, drop-down menu, print, page
number.
- Note the page number is on the top of the schedule
you would like. If you hit the print short cut
key you will
print out
the whole work book.

NOTE: Amortization
Schedules now reflect an actuarial earnings factor (sinking fund
factor) of 4.00% effective for all future MFA Issues commencing
with our Spring 2005 Issue #90. For those requiring amortization
schedules with a sinking fund factor of 5% relating to prior years
MFA issues please contact Graham.
